◄◄◄ WORST Liquid Lipstick I've ever tried!! ►►►

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

(Deep Breath!!!!) I always make things work whether in life or just a simple make up product. If the product is not that great, I'll do something about it to make it work since I paid it with my own money regardless on how cheap or expensive it is.

***Disclaimer: This is just my opinion and I don't mean to say that the brand is bad at all. I own bags from Sophie and I love it.

Brand: Sophie Martin Paris
Product Name: Lipnicure
Shade: Only comes in one shade (I think?!)
Price: Php 210

If you are fond of korean cosmetics, you probably have heard of Clio. It is the make up brand who started the manicure-type of lipstick wherein it lasts all day and does not transfer at all much like the liquid lipsticks that are surfacing around the beauty community. I don't own their version of a lipnicure but that packaging from Sophie is very similar (as shown above).

At first application, you would notice how pigmented and smooth if applies on your lips. After a few seconds, it becomes sticky and quite gummy once you press your lips. Once it dries out, it looks patchy and it accentuates fine lines all over your lips. Even the color of this product is way off. I don't think even fair and deep skin tones would even look good on this. The worst part of this is the scent. I'm not sensitive on cosmetics having scents however this is unbearable. It has a strong artificial candy scent and it does not go away even after it dries on your lips.

Overall, DO NOT buy this. Do not even attempt to try this as the scent is nauseating.

☀☀☀ MENOW Long Lasting Lipgloss Review ☀☀☀

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

I've been cringing to try the liquid lipstick trend that has been popular in the beauty community. Liquid lipsticks can be a bit expensive so I had to try something affordable for the meantime.

Menow products have been circling around blogs and youtube on how pigmented and amazing for it's price. I purchased this online which a downside for those people who are uncomfortable orddering online. I haven't seen these available in stores but I might be wrong.

Brand: MENOW
Product Name: Long Lasting Lipgloss
Shade: Ranging from Nudes to Deep Plum
Price: Ranges from 90 to 150 pesos depends on where you buy these

As most lipgloss, it comes in a doe foot applicator for easy application. It does not have a scent and the packaging is unique (like a test tube for science projects). I feel like that if you use this on a daily basis, you might ran out faster than regular lipgloss since it doesn't come with a lot of product.

This is really easy and smooth to apply. It does mattify after a few seconds. You must (I mean must) exfoliate your lips beforehand as it sucks the life out of your lips. It is definitely kissproof hence very hard to remove. You have to use a cleansing oil for this.

Overall, this is an OKAY product. It's not something that I would recommend to a lipstick lover. If you are fond of long lasting matte lip products, then this is worth checking out. The formula is bit of a hit or miss depending on what shade you choose. Although all of what I've tried are pigmented, some of the nude shades tend to crumble on my lips while I'm eating.

I'm not so sure on what the hype is about but this is not a HIT or MISS for me but just something in between. If you want to try just one color, I would suggest number 25, 22 or 08.

Let me know if you have tried this and share your thoughts/experience on these Menow Lipglosses

♣♣♣ EZSHOP WII AFGF Hydrating Protective Lotion Review ♣♣♣

Oh! Hello Blog-O-World!

I've been in major hiatus for a couple of weeks. Main reason, I've been so busy at work and I felt like sleeping all day if I have a chance. But after all this time, I've missed writing reviews and posting blogs. Now is my chance to redeem myself and I have a lot of reviews coming up in the next few days.

When I'm writing reviews, I always make sure that I have tested the product for quite a while and posting it on my blog means that I stand my ground on what I thought about the product which is if recommend it or not.

I've received an email from EZSHOP Asia last February that they are interested on sending me a product for review and couple of days later, I received a quite interesting item.

Before anything else, although this was sent to me for review, all my thoughts on this product is based on my personal experience. I've tested this for 1 month so I could give you my honest opinion.

Brand: WII
Product Name: aFgF Hydrating Lotion
Shade: Only has one shade
Claims: Sun protector to prevent pigmentation and gives you more moisturized and be protected from other harmful elements that can damage your skin.

Packaging is simple. It comes in a pump which is something that I appreciate. At first, the pump was not working. No product was coming out so I had to open the actual cap and tried to shake it which I'm not sure why, but it actually worked. One downside of box that it comes with is that it does not give an intensive description on what this product do so I had to look for it online (thank you Ms. Janina for the link :).

Left: unblended - Right: blended

Now for the actual product. Based on their website, it claims that this product will moisturize your skin. Well I don't think that it provides that moisture that I wanted. I have oily skin but I tend to get dry patches around my cheek and nose. It does accentuate dry patches so you have to use a moisturizer before applying this.

After trying this for a month as my makeup base, I noticed that I was not breaking out. Well, my skin is not sensitive at all but during the time of the month (aka period - you know what I'm talking about), I always get A pimple somewhere in my face, mostly on the forehead. I did not get any pimples or bumps during the time of using this product which is AMAZING.

It does claim that your eye bags would disappear but due to my work, I did not see any difference. I don't have wrinkles, YET, so I can't say anything about the wrinkle improvement aspect of the product. I did notice that it lightens my dark spots so I need to use this continuously to check if it would help on fading those dark spots.

One downside of the product is that it is too light on my skin. I do use a foundation or BB cream on top but if you use this alone, you have to add a bit of bronzer to warm up your skin. If you have a deeper skin color, I don't think that this would work as a makeup base since it is too light and based on their website, it comes in only one shade.

Overall, I actually think that this is an underrated product that you should try. It is a bit pricey (1200php) but I think they do have sales from time to time. You may look up their website and they have tons of beauty and non beauty product that you might be interested in.

♦♦♦Tony Moly Gold 24K Mask Review♦♦♦

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

Did you know GOLD is good for your skin? Some dermatologists use it as a facial treatment to their clients. It is known to help blood circulation, has anti-aging properties and enhance skin elasticity. These are some of the benefits of a gold facial treatment.

Because there are tons of new face treatments that are being introduces to the market everyday, my curiosity just led me on trying this face mask. Since Gold facial treatment can be expensive (or so any treatments in my opinion), I bought this Gold 24K Mask from Tony Moly.

Information
Brand: Tony Moly
Product Name: Gold 24K Mask
Claims: The wash-off cream mask vitalizes and firms the skin with pure gold.
Where to buy: Tony Moly stores

The box looks like a gold bar which is really nice. The actual tube is just simple nothing fancy to see here.

As the box suggests, you have to leave the product on your face for 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. My first impression after using this is that it makes my skin super soft after rinsing it off. I did use just a tiny amount to cover my face but I think I have to use more. Once you rinse this off, there are subtle shimmers left on the skin thus this is best use at night.

Overall, if you have dry skin this is perfect for you. But for those who have oily skin, I might as well skip this and use a tightening masks. I have dry patches around my nose and cheek area so this would be perfect for me. I just have to rinse this off better since tiny specks of shimmers were visible on my skin after rinsing this.

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

I just want to share this awesome collaboration from A'Pieu and Crayon Shin Chan. I've watched this cartoon when I was in grade school and I was so excited that a korean skincare line had a collaboration for this funny cartoon.

I was so eager to purchase all items in the collection but unfortunately, the online site did not carry the hand creams and moisturizer. You may click the link below if you are interested on these and I dare say that these are all so cute.

♘♘♘ Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser Review ♘♘♘

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

I've been testing out a lot of beauty products for the past 3 months and needless to say, I'm so excited to share with you what my thoughts are. I haven't reviewed any beauty tools yet and I would like to start on something that I enjoyed using.

Pore cleansing brushes have been really popular on most Asian countries. Main reason is that it helps remove all dirt and makeup residue that is left after using any cleansing oil or foams. This is not the first time that I've used a pore brush but this is the first time I used an electronic pore cleansing brush.

Information
Brand: Pobling Cleanser
Product Name: Pore Sonic Cleanser
Claims: Excellent Pore Cleansing effect with 10000 vibrations/min.
Price: 890 pesos
Where to buy: HappyBeauty

This is quite a handy tool for cleansing my face. The bristles are really soft, wet or dry. It can cleanse those hard to reach areas on the face like around the nose area where your nasty whiteheads are hiding. After pushing the button, the tool vibrates which I actually use to massage my face upward to help tone and tighten my skin.

You can replace the head after 3 months, which is the ideal longevity of the brush. The switch is rubberized to prevent water from getting in the battery which is located at the bottom. It caters AAA battery which lasts for more than a month.

Upon using this with my regular face cleansers, my skin feels squeaky clean. My face feels tight which I like because it is an indication that I cleansed my face thoroughly. Since I always use makeup, I always make sure to double cleanse and this is a great tool to remove all the gunk around my pore area.

Overall, I highly recommend this tool to all makeup lovers out there. This is the best way to remove all dirt and makeup residues that is left after using any makeup removers. I've been using this for 2 months now and it is still in perfect condition. I purchased mine from HappyBeauty.com and you may want to sign up on their site since they mostly have deals that you can't pass.

What do you think?

☆☆☆ ESSENCE Eyeshadow and Eyeliner Review ☆☆☆

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

I've been seeing a lot of blog posts and youtube videos about Essence make ups and on how affordable they are. I agree that they are quite affordable for an international brand selling here in the Philippines. Normally, cosmetic brands bring the prices up compared to what they actually retailed.

I've been intrigued with their eyeshadows since I've heard really good reviews about them. Since they were on sale, I took this opportunity to try their eyeliner as well since I'm kinda in a rut of using just your typical black eyeliner.

I only got 2 shades of their eyeshadow just to test them out and see if this is worth the price. For the eyeliner on the other hand, I was planning to get only one but I ended up buying 3 (girl problems!).

Packaging is what you pay for. Nothing fancy and feels a bit cheap but it doesn't bother me at all. The amount of the product, however, is way more than it's price. This bigger than an Etude House single eyeshadow which is a bit expensive than this.

Strawberry Ice cream - pink shade
Copper Island - bronze shade

The eyeshadows are very smooth to the touch. These a quite pigmented even without a primer underneath. The swatches above does not have any primer but if you use any eye primer, the pigmentation would more opaque that what you can see here.

From top to bottom
#15 Behind the Scenes
#23 Love Me Lavender
#23 Pretty in Fuchsia

All of the colors are glides smoothly on your eyes. These are creamy and easy to use when applying on the eyes. The colors are opaque without any use of an eye primer.

One thing the you need to consider is that since these are so creamy, it smudges the heck out of my waterline. I can't even use it as a liner on my upper lash line. I prefer to use this as a base on my eyeshadow and that is pretty much it.

Overall: The eyeshadows are definitely worth to try. I think I bough it for about 75 pesos each when they were on sale. The eyeliners on the other hand are not something that you would need to try not unless you just want to test it out. These are only 50 pesos each during their sale but I don't recommend them at all.

Do you have any Essence product recommendations? I'd like to know that you think.
