♣♣♣ Daiso BB Cream Review ♣♣♣

Oh Hello Blog-o-World!

Hunting (if that's the perfect word) for a holy grail base make-up is not that easy. It has to match your skin tone, would not break you out (pimples?! meh!), has good coverage and of course, a reasonable price that won't hurt your wallet.

Whenever I go to the Daiso store in Market Market, I would just rummage around the stationery section and the food section of the store but never on the make-up section. Every time I go there, the cosmetics does not appeal to me at all. Maybe because of the price, I would not bother buying anything from it because I would think it might be a waste of money. Then I saw that they had a BB cream.

I'm almost done with my Colour Collectoin BB Cream in Whitening and I want to find a replacement, so, I bothered to purchase it.

Don't get me wrong but I don't have high hopes for it. The thing what I don't like about buying cosmetics at the Daiso store is that they don't have a tester. I know it's cheap but c'mon, how can I find the best shade for me if I don't even know what is the actual color inside the tube.

Enough rambling and let's proceed with my review.

First of, I like the packaging. It's in a squeezy tube so you don't have to worry about any bacteria lurking around your hand and getting in the product itself.

It claims that it is an essence, makeup base, daytime care (sunblock) and foundation all in one.

For the essence, I agree on what it claims, It is quite moisturizing and there are a couple times wherein I skip my daily moisturizer and get straight into the BB cream.

For the makeup base, just so-so. It can act as a base for your foundation or another BB cream if you want. I've used it together with my Colour Collection BB cream and it works fine. Technically, there is nothing different even if I don't use it in conjunction with what I currently use.

For foundation, well, not at all. It does not have any coverage. I got the color Natural Beige becuase it is the darkest shade that they currently have. I'm not sure how many shades they have but that's all I can find in that specific store. It's just feels like a sunblock, that's it. So if you have acne or any redness, it won't cover it and you need to either use another foundation or use a concealer.

The consistency of this product is quite watery hence just like a sunblock.

Verdict: If you have great skin to begin with (I envy you!), this would be perfect for everyday wear. But if you have certain areas that you need to cover up and you want just one product to do that for you then skip this. I would probably use this but I will not bother repurchasing it even though it's cheap.

Stay Awesome,
ShinAeYo
