2015 Planning: "New Year, New ME"

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I cannot believe 2014 ended just like that (snap!). This was the most boring and dull year by far. Nothing exciting happened. I've always been at work and I haven't traveled yet; not even within the Philippines. I am not getting any younger and my life needs some spicing up.

I want this year to be different. Leaving my current job is not an option since that is THE only thing I rely for my financial needs. Because of that, I want this year to be more productive and exciting.

My life has been, by far, as they say "Anything Goes". I'm the type of person who is just contented with what I already have which is nice but I want that to change. I want to explore and discover certain things. Develop a new hobby (blogging maybe?!), learn a new language and have my own online store are just some of the things that I want to accomplish this year. And I WILL make sure it happens this year.

I cannot accomplish all of these if I don't properly plan my life. I'm the type of person who buys a planner, use it for 2 to 4 months and just forget about it after. Needless to say, I'm not utilizing it's purpose. But now, I want it to be different.

There are so many planners to choose from. Some are cute and girly; and some are perfect for the working girl in me but I always go back and check for this specific brand of planner for new updates every year and I decided to choose a planner from Belle de Jour.

I'll probably use this for my work and personal errands not really for journaling my daily life activities. I like that it it has this space for jotting down list on what I need to accomplish for the day.
Another thing that I love purchasing this planner, is the coupons. Now, I know that I want to save up this year so this is perfect if I need to go shopping.

Now for journaling, I plan to use this Witty Will Save the World planner. Main reason, the space it has for jotting down notes that I have for that day. I like the it has more space to write any thoughts for the day. This is new to me (i mean journaling) but I want this to be the start of this new experience.

I know that having 2 planners is more that enough but I want this year to be different. I want to be organized and also try some new things that I've always want to experience and would be a part of my daily routine.

Tell me what is your 2015 planner?

♣♣♣ Daiso BB Cream Review ♣♣♣

Oh Hello Blog-o-World!

Hunting (if that's the perfect word) for a holy grail base make-up is not that easy. It has to match your skin tone, would not break you out (pimples?! meh!), has good coverage and of course, a reasonable price that won't hurt your wallet.

Whenever I go to the Daiso store in Market Market, I would just rummage around the stationery section and the food section of the store but never on the make-up section. Every time I go there, the cosmetics does not appeal to me at all. Maybe because of the price, I would not bother buying anything from it because I would think it might be a waste of money. Then I saw that they had a BB cream.

I'm almost done with my Colour Collectoin BB Cream in Whitening and I want to find a replacement, so, I bothered to purchase it.

Don't get me wrong but I don't have high hopes for it. The thing what I don't like about buying cosmetics at the Daiso store is that they don't have a tester. I know it's cheap but c'mon, how can I find the best shade for me if I don't even know what is the actual color inside the tube.

Enough rambling and let's proceed with my review.

First of, I like the packaging. It's in a squeezy tube so you don't have to worry about any bacteria lurking around your hand and getting in the product itself.

It claims that it is an essence, makeup base, daytime care (sunblock) and foundation all in one.

For the essence, I agree on what it claims, It is quite moisturizing and there are a couple times wherein I skip my daily moisturizer and get straight into the BB cream.

For the makeup base, just so-so. It can act as a base for your foundation or another BB cream if you want. I've used it together with my Colour Collection BB cream and it works fine. Technically, there is nothing different even if I don't use it in conjunction with what I currently use.

For foundation, well, not at all. It does not have any coverage. I got the color Natural Beige becuase it is the darkest shade that they currently have. I'm not sure how many shades they have but that's all I can find in that specific store. It's just feels like a sunblock, that's it. So if you have acne or any redness, it won't cover it and you need to either use another foundation or use a concealer.

The consistency of this product is quite watery hence just like a sunblock.

Verdict: If you have great skin to begin with (I envy you!), this would be perfect for everyday wear. But if you have certain areas that you need to cover up and you want just one product to do that for you then skip this. I would probably use this but I will not bother repurchasing it even though it's cheap.
