Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil in Deep Moisture Review

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

I have used a cleansing oil from the past which was Human Nature's Sunflower Cleansing Oil. I was really impressed on how oil works on removing any gunk on face. Since I emptied 200ml bottle of it, I want to try something new. I've been always so intrigued and just wanting to try the Shu Uemura cleansing oil but, of course, the price does not fit on my almost empty wallet.

I've been reading a lot of blogs that recommends Etude House's Real Art Cleansing Oil. At the time that I went to their Fairview branch, they only have 2 types, light and deep moisture (the 3rd type is moisture). I decided to purchase the deep moisture type since I've been having a dry skin type of month.

It comes in a yellow plastic box and the bottle itself is clear so you can see how much product you still have. The pump comes separately. You can use the pump at home or the cap for travelling which I did not realize until I threw the cap away.

The oil is quite thin in texture which is a breeze on massaging on the face. Its spreads easily on the skin and has a nice citrus scent which is I'm a big fan of. I also noticed that upon using it, my skin felt really soft.

I did use a variety of makeup products that I usually use to test how effective it is.

Upon spreading the oil, it seems like the eyeliner and lip tint is not completey removed.

I did not rinse my arm with water, instead I used a cheap baby wipes and try if all makeup will be removed. But as you can see, the lip tint is still noticeable on my arm.

Thoughts: This oil is great for removing face makeup. I just don't recommend using this on my eye area especially when I have a waterproof mascara on. Also, every time I tried using this to remove my eye makeup, the oil kept on getting on my eyeballs. I'm not sure if this usually happens when using oils on your eye area but I prefer using a separate makeup remover to remove the gunk on my eyes.

Verdict: I'll definitely purchase this again. I love the non-greasy feeling that you get after rinsing it with soap and water. The scent is quite nice and I love massaging this on my face. For 678 pesos, this is worth a try. I've been using this for a month and I did not break out on this even once.

Check Etude House Philippines Facebook page for any upcoming products.

What do you think? Have you tried cleansing oils?

Stay Awesome,
ShinAeYo
