♥♥♥ PONY X MEMEBOX Shine Easy Glam Eyeshadow Palette Review ♥♥♥

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

I adore korean cosmetics and, well, you may have known if you have seen my reviews. Being a korean make up lover, you probably stumbled upon Park Hye Min aka Pony. She is a well-know korean youtuber and blogger that is famous from her online make up tutorials and make up books (PONY Beauty Diary).

When she collaborated with Memebox, I was astounded and itching to buy her eyeshadow palettes. Memebox ships internationally but I'm not that type of person to buy online that would result me paying more at our customs just to get you package. Gladly, I've discovered an online seller that pre-orders korean cosmetics for a reasonable price.

Information
Brand: Memebox
Product Name: Pony X Memebox Shine Easy Glam Palette
Price: 1300+ pesos

The cardboard box is super cute with it's pink and black theme. The actual palette is sturdy and sleek. You can easily get away with this palette when travelling. It comes in this huge mirror which is amazing and 2 applicators that has a brush and sponge at the other end.

I've seen other reviews wherein they say that the applicators are unusable but for me, I tried to use this to apply and blend the eyeshadows and it works perfectly fine. It is not the best but you can get away with it without thinking about using actual make up brush.

Easy Base Matte all over base color in cream
Easy Shadow:  Matte light milk chocolate color
Easy Brown: Matte medium cocoa brown
Easy Charcoal: Matte deep dark grey brown
Shine Rosegold: Shimmery light rose gold
Shine Gold:  Shimmery copper color
Glam Cocoa Shimmery red brown
Glam Espresso: Shimmery cocoa brown with pink

Based on these swatches, the matte shades are not that pigmented which some people might think is a let down of this palette. Actually, I prefer these shadows to be this way because I use these shadows for certain parts of my face not just the eyes.

Easy Base I use it for a nice subtle brow bone highlight and on the tear duct area.
Easy Shadow:  I use it for nose contouring which I heard Pony loves for that reason
Easy Charcoal: I use it on the crease to darken and achieve a subtle smoky eye
Easy Brown: I use it for a subtle transition shade

\

The next 4 shades are quite shimmery and pigmented which is perfect for an all over lid color. What I like about these is that it doesn't have chunky glitters that may result in a lot of fall out.

Shine Rosegold: I use it on my undereye to create that subtle aegyo sal-look
Shine Gold:  I love to use this as my all over the lid
Glam CocoaI also use it all over the lid
Glam Espresso: I use it on the crease and on my outer under eye area

Overall: I highly recommend this palette for those neutral lovers out there. I'm actually enjoying using this palette and I have used it for 2 weeks straight. This is a bit pricey in my opinion but I do not regret having this in my make up stash.

You may purchase this directly on the Memebox website or you may purchase from the online seller below. The seller is so accommodating and she always responds to my queries. I highly recommend that you check out her FB page. She also has an ebay account for on hand items.

♠♠♠ ETUDE HOUSE Fresh Cherry Tint PP501 Cherry Lavender ♠♠♠

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

It's almost the end of another month and this year has been really swinging so fast. I'm almost done with my 3 month membership at the gym and I'm still on the verge if I need to continue it or not. I've had this blog for 7 months and I'm still enjoying this new hobby of mine.

Enough rambling and here's another review (or obsession) of a lip tint that I'm currently using. I'm still in the lip tint craze right now and I've been wanting to try a different color other than pink or red.

When I saw this lavender colored lip tint on the Etude House store, I just had to try it without thinking about the price and even swatching it. This might be a love at first sight thing.

Information
Brand: Etude House
Product Name: Fresh Cherry Tint
Color: PP501 Cherry Lavender
Price: 348 pesos

Packaging is cute, as expected from Etude House. It comes in a doe-foot applicator which makes application easier. I don't have a lavender tint in my current stash and this is good option if you want to veer away from you regular pink lip tint.

It comes in a milky and glossy texture. The gloss actually helps on moisturizing the lips and preventing it from being chapped and flaky. The color when swatched is lilac but when you put it on your lips, it has that light pink with a just a hint of purple in it.

It does give my lips are really nice stain once the gloss fades. It's not too obvious but makes you not look pale. One thing I just noticed is that it would only last for about less than 2 hours and I'm always drinking water and coffee so it would require constant re-application.

Overall: I would recommend this lip tint if you just want to have something on your lips so that you would not look pale and also if you are like me and want to try korean lip tints. But if you want something that would last all day, this may not be for you.

◄◄◄ ETUDE HOUSE Perfect Fit BB Cream in W13 ►►►

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

As I mentioned on my Missha Cushion make up review, I'm in a base make up hunt lately. I just want to try different things on my face (hahaha!). I've use the regular Precious Mineral BB cream from Etude House years ago and well, it was not my favorite but it was an "OK" product.

So I decided to try another version on Etude House's Precious Mineral collection. I want to try a semi-matte finish since most of the BB creams I've tried have dewy finishes which quite popular among korean women as it makes your skin look healthy.

Information
Product Name: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Perfect Fit SPF30 PA++
Color: Natural Beige W13
Weight: 60g

Whitening, Anti-Wrinkle and Anti-Darkening

I haven't used this BB cream constantly for 1 month, so I haven't seen any difference on my acne spots and some discoloration on my cheek area.

I love that it has a pump that it is very hygienic to use. You don't need to worry about bacteria going into the product itself but just a precaution, wipe the pump from time to time. The pump also works well for controlling the amount so you don't waste anything.

The packaging is just similar as the original Precious Mineral BB cream. It comes in a somewhat dirty or beige-white squeezy tube type of packing. Very simple yet I do appreciate simplicity.

I find the texture of this cream to be a bit mousy (if that is the right term). It is not watery yet it is not tacky at all. That amount seen above is just half a pump but I suggest use one full pump to cover the entire face. I noticed that this is a bit harder to blend than most BB creams that I've tried. You need to blend it immediately after dotting it on your face as well as it sets quite quickly. It does have a semi-dewy finish (not semi-matte as it is not matte at all). When I swatched it on the store, this was the only shade that they have that might suite my skin but turns out, it looks one shade lighter than my natural skin color.

I get a medium coverage with this but you can build it up to get a heavier coverage but it can get a bit cakey so one layer of this cream is enough. It has SPF 30 which is perfect if you are lazy to apply a suncreen but this is really not good to use at night during flash photography.

Overall: I would recommend this if you are new to the BB cream world and want to try a face product from Etude House. But, if you are like me and have tried a lot of BB creams, I don't think this would compare to the coverage and finish that I get from Missha's Perfect Cover BB cream (which I love!). You may want to try their original Precious Mineral BB cream or their cushion make up as, I think, it is better than this Perfect Fit BB cream.

♦♦♦ ETUDE HOUSE Face Color Corset #5 ♦♦♦

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

Being a make up enthusiast for years now, I still stick with the basics; BB cream, eyeliner, brows, blush and lipstick. But there are times that I want to amp up my make up game. I've seen a lot (i mean a lot) of tutorials on how to properly contour your face. I've been so curious and wanting to try this technique. But in all honesty, I don't have the proper product to do such thing.

Then I saw Shebby Liquete's make up tutorials for Etude House and I decided to buy their contour product since it was not that expensive.

Information
Product Name: ETUDE HOUSE Face Color Corset
Color: #5 Tight Shading Corset

This has a very simple packaging which I find quite nice since most Etude House products have cute and girly packaging. It is compact and ideal for travel, The downside is that it doesn't have a mirror which most of this type of packaging has.

I chose the darkest color since some of the color in this collection tends to be too light for my skin color and it may not show up on my skin at all. Well, I actually need to put more product on since when you just dip your brush in it, it doesn't show up on my skin as I'd hoped. This might be a good thing since I don't want that heavy contour look and I prefer a more natural contour on my cheeks.

What I also like about this bronzer/contour, it is not powdery at all. This is a good choice for beginners like me since it  is light and you just have to build it up in order to get the intensity that you want.

Overall: If you are just starting to practice proper contouring, this is a good start up item to get. But if you want that heavy-kim kardashian-type of look, this may not be for you. I'm still practicing and trying to perfect this contour technique and I'm still getting a hang of it.

Unboxing: June BDJ Box ♥ Bioderma

Oh Hello Blog-O-World!

At last, June BDJ Box has arrived. It came late that expected but I don't mind. I did not expect anything about last month's box but I'm really excited on what it is inside.

Bioderma made a collaboration with BDJ and June box is full of samples from their skincare line.
It also includes a lip and cheek tint from The Body shop which is a plus since I'm in a lip tint craze right now.

Overall: Even though this box comes with sample products, I'm still not disappointed on what I received. I'm curious on using the Bioderma products and the 200php coupon is a plus. Unfortunately, BDJ is only opening Elite Subscription boxes starting August which cost 1,480php. I'm still on the verge of deciding if I will subscribe or not since I'm on a budget right now. Follow their Facebook page for more information.
