Being a make up enthusiast for years now, I still stick with the basics; BB cream, eyeliner, brows, blush and lipstick. But there are times that I want to amp up my make up game. I've seen a lot (i mean a lot) of tutorials on how to properly contour your face. I've been so curious and wanting to try this technique. But in all honesty, I don't have the proper product to do such thing.
Then I saw Shebby Liquete's make up tutorials for Etude House and I decided to buy their contour product since it was not that expensive.
Information
Product Name: ETUDE HOUSE Face Color Corset
Color: #5 Tight Shading Corset
This has a very simple packaging which I find quite nice since most Etude House products have cute and girly packaging. It is compact and ideal for travel, The downside is that it doesn't have a mirror which most of this type of packaging has.
I chose the darkest color since some of the color in this collection tends to be too light for my skin color and it may not show up on my skin at all. Well, I actually need to put more product on since when you just dip your brush in it, it doesn't show up on my skin as I'd hoped. This might be a good thing since I don't want that heavy contour look and I prefer a more natural contour on my cheeks.
What I also like about this bronzer/contour, it is not powdery at all. This is a good choice for beginners like me since it is light and you just have to build it up in order to get the intensity that you want.
Overall: If you are just starting to practice proper contouring, this is a good start up item to get. But if you want that heavy-kim kardashian-type of look, this may not be for you. I'm still practicing and trying to perfect this contour technique and I'm still getting a hang of it.
Stay Awesome,
ShinAeYo
